Thanks for your email, excellent idea. I work pretty hard to keep my name in the magazines and promote undersea art. I'm the sculptor of the mermaid in grand cayman, and have been very fortunate in the publicity she has received. I just returned from Grand cayman, where HRH Prince Edward unveiled my latest piece, a life size bronze of two seafarers.
We should stay in touch and maybe look at a DEMA effort.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Yes, I think it's a great idea. I have a silly day job and don't get much time, so somebody built my site for me and I know very little about web site building , I do like your idea though and would like to be involved in anything that you think of.

Yes, I think that's a great idea. How do you wish to proceed? Maybe we can be
connected with the wildlife art magazine/group eventually.

Many thanks for your e-mail.
Having visited your site, your paintings are fabulous, I love the detail and colours of your work.
Kay and I have been painting underwater scenes for the last 5 years and diving for many more. We are still trying to build up our business and find the marketing side our hardest job.
I think to be part of an underwater art society is a great idea and can only benefit us all in many ways.
We would love to be included and keen to help in any way possible.
By the way, I noticed you don't seem to have any links to your site, would you like a reciprocal link to help increase targeted traffic? We will gladly put your site on ours as link.
Many thanks for contacting us, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Happy diving!

Thanks for the email , I think you have some excellent points and all of them
would add to the efforts of any painter or painters . I would think that your thoughts on the UNDERWATER WORLD ART SOCIETY Would work well. I am sad to say that I would be unable to get involve in the planning/joining at this stage of the game as I have just to much on my plate at this point in time . I hope to be in a better position next year to look at new projects.
Do let me know how things work out and keep me updated from time to time .
Thanks again.

Thank you for including me in the list. Count me in! I think it is an
excellent idea, and past time. As inspiration, I had dinner with George
Sumners last week.
He is an U/W artist from Hawaii/ CA, and has quite
a name for himself. If we could get a few "names" to also join, the
idea would be golden.
As I am sure that you have noticed, most
recognized U?W art is from the Pacific, very different from the
Atlantic (the fish that is...)
Let me know what kind of a response you receive, to know how to
continue from here. I recently joined in the American Society of
Marine Artists (www.marineartists.org) We can pick up a few ideas from
them....
Best wishes to you! eee

Thank you for your letter. This sounds very intriguing. Have you gotten anyone else's interest? It's nice to see there are so many others that are into this underwater world of art!! I do think that there is alot of interest in this area, (underwater art) in the general public - the response to my art, has always very good.
I do think if there were a group of artists pooling their work together for "theme specific shows" etc. - for example - ( I like your idea of an Underwater Art Society) - we would get good exposure, and response.
This is a very busy time of year for me - but please - keep me in touch, and let me know of any of your thoughts in this regard, and as to what others are thinking.
Thanks again - ps....love your work!!
Sincerely
Connie McClure
